to apply for the job

We are now looking for a Test Engineer with a primary focus on EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) to join our Design & Product Verification team. The team is responsible for planning and conducting tests of our products throughout the development chain to verify and validate components and systems.

Our laboratory is equipped for environmental testing, EMC testing, electrical testing, and optical testing — and even though your primary focus is EMC, you will be able to contribute in other testing areas as needed.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Prepare, conduct, and follow up on tests in various technical areas
  • Contribute to requirements analysis and development of test methods and test environments
  • Manage daily operations of test equipment and test setups
  • Conduct result analysis and document test outcomes with high accuracy

The role involves varied work where you collaborate closely with other teams within the organization, gain insight into several technical areas, and contribute to ensuring that our products maintain the highest quality and meet relevant standards.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a proactive and solution-oriented approach who enjoys taking responsibility and driving work forward. You are structured, meticulous, and thrive in clear processes. You easily build strong relationships and adapt quickly to new conditions and technical challenges.

You are proactive and have the ability to work independently when needed. A strong interest in measurement technology and quality characterizes you, and you value collaboration just as much as a structured and self-driven work style.

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:

  • Experience in EMC testing and a good understanding of international EMC standards
  • Work experience as a Test Engineer or similar, preferably within electronics
  • Knowledge of quality standards such as IATF 16949 or ISO 17025
  • Skills in measuring instruments, measurement technology, and analysis tools
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • An engineering degree at the college or university level, or relevant experience
